On December 12, 2024, KAMA-E requested a quote for 2,000 pieces of valve seats to SYTOP, in which the cobalt alloy engine exhaust valve seat was put forward with extremely strict technical specifications and quality standards. The cobalt alloy material has excellent characteristics such as high strength, corrosion resistance, etc. Alloy 6 easily causes increased tool wear during processing, and it is difficult to ensure the product's dimensional accuracy and surface quality with ordinary processing equipment and technology. At the same time, the manufacturing process of the valve seat adopts powder metallurgy, which requires precise control of temperature and pressure to ensure the uniformity of the internal organization of the material. The subsequent precision machining process also requires high dimensional tolerances and any slight deviation may affect the sealing performance and working stability of the valve seat in the engine.

SYTOP has more than 30 years of experience in producing cobalt alloys. The powder metallurgy process is chosen for the process, which can improve the material's internal organization, increase the material's density and uniformity, and avoid the casting process that may produce sand holes inside the product.

The first batch of 300 products has been completed and passed the strict quality inspection process within SYTOP. Key performance indicators such as dimensional accuracy, surface roughness, hardness, etc. were tested individually, and all the indicators are in line with or better than KAMA-E's quality standards.
